Genesee Home is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation and is funded by guest fees and by donations from churches and individuals who are committed to supporting "the church" and its Under Shepherds, the Pastors. We desire to make Genesee Home affordable for every Pastor who desires to visit; therefore, we only pass along 1/3 of our operating expenses to visiting Pastors, and 2/3 of our operating expenses are covered by donations. In addition, we offer partial or full scholarships to those Pastors or churches who cannot afford to visit. Genesee Home could not operate without donations from people like you. Give Us a Blessing and Receive a Blessing The splendor of Genesee Home hits you the moment you walk through the front door. The rooms are beautifully furnished with antiques amid the renovated Victorian décor. There is no doubting the Lord's influence in every detail of each room and the care given to each guest throughout the week from the staff at Genesee Home. But there is always room for improvement. We are still seeking funds to make some changes and improvements to Genesee Home. For those of you who have stayed in Parlor Bedroom you know how important a new private shower is that would meet the needs of those with mobility challenges. We have purchased new chairs for the dinning room and are still accepting donations for these. The Prayer Barn has a charm all its own. Above it, there is an upstairs room we are working toward opening that we plan to call the "Elijah Room". We are looking for funds to purchase a spiral staircase to make that special prayer space accessible. The
financial support you find in your heart to share with us would
go directly to making these improvements. You may consider making
a gift without a specific designation, but you may also want to
consider a gift for one of our specific projects described above.
