From Sacramento Airport: Exit the airport on Airport Blvd. Take the Interstate #5 South ramp towards Sacramento/Yuba City. Merge on to the I-5 south for approximately 2.2 miles and merge on to Highway 70/99 toward Marysville/Yuba City.
From the General Sacramento Area: A few miles north of Sacramento on Interstate #5, look for Highway 70/99 toward Marysville/Yuba City.
After merging on to Highway 70/99: After approximately 5 miles the road has a "Y" and 70 and 99 split. Stay on #70 toward Marysville/Oroville. Note: the last food and gas service before the ranch is in Oroville. (However, there are rest stops/restrooms on the way up Feather River Canyon.) Stay on Highway 70 (heading East) from Oroville for approximately 122 miles and approximately 1½ hours until you come to the junction where Highway 89 intersects Highway 70. (Note the mileage markers on your way up the canyon indicating how far to Quincy. The turn on to Hwy 70 is 10 miles west of (before) Quincy). Turn left (north) on Highway 89 toward Greenville/Lake Almanore for approximately 6 miles. Turn right on Arlington Road (Rt. A22) toward Taylorsville (immediately after you turn right and cross the railroad tracks you will notice a golf course on the left). Taylorsville is approximately 6 miles East of Highway 89 (don't blink or you might miss Taylorsville). Continue on straight through town and approximately 1/4 mile out of town the road will "Y" and you will want to stay to the right. At the "Y" you will notice the rodeo grounds on the left. Continue on past the rodeo grounds heading East for approximately 6 miles, and as you see the wooded area opening up to a small valley, you will be entering The Neff Family Ranch and Genesee Valley.
Continue on to Downtown Genesee (if you blink here, you will definitely miss Downtown Genesee). As you approach the Genesee Store, directly across from the store is a large red brick house. This is Genesee Home. Just past the mailboxes there is a turn into our driveway and parking lot. You may park there and come around to the front of the house and we will meet you there. Please feel free to come right into GH no need to knock. You are Welcome.
Note if you are arriving in the dark, Genesee Home is approximately 6 miles east of Taylorsville. You will come into the valley and the first light you see on your right is Genesee Home. We will have the parking lot lights on for you. It is easy to miss the mail boxes at night. If you go farther than 6 miles, turn around.
PLEASE NOTE: THE FINAL DESTINATION, AS SHOWN ON MAP QUEST, INDICATES THE PROPERTY A MILE TO THE EAST OF ITS ACTUAL LOCATION. GENESEE HOME IS LOCATED IN THE TOWN OF GENESEE, WHICH IS SHOWN ON THE MAP DIRECTLY TO THE EAST OF THE "STARRED" LOCATION.
